Located on one of the most beautiful beaches of Goa, this place is great to just laze around and relax with friends or family. We went there on a drive to just relax and enjoy the beach and had a great time just lounging on the sea facing terrace. Will consider staying there the next time I am there.

We couldn’t recommend Anahata Retreat any more to those looking for a tasteful and rejuvenating stay in North Goa. We found the Bungalow room to be beautiful and perfectly simple for our needs, and the staff amazing - particularly Deepu for general concierge support (logistics and activities) and Kavya for superb daily yoga practices.

We visited this place on Holi the ambience was nice the music was good but having reached the place almost at 5 pm when the party was about to end but were asked to pay 1000 entrance per person which I thought was ridiculous the food was average and the service was also average

Peace and tranquillity in northern Goa

We spent two very relaxing nights at Anahata. It was our first trip to India and what a great introduction it was. We were looking for a local, authentic experience away from the big resorts and Anahata didn’t disappoint. We booked a beachside villa, which had a lovely spacious room with a large bed, great air conditioning and a charming view of the beach framed by palm trees. The hotel is set directly on what we thought was the best and smartest stretch of the beach, amongst beautifully landscaped gardens. Great, safe swimming and fabulous sunsets every day. It’s a shame we didn’t wake up in time for the complimentary yoga, but the sun deck looked great. Food was exceptional both at breakfast and dinner - Sitting on comfortable chairs with our feet in the sand and a view of the ocean! There was plenty of continental options such as omelettes as well as traditional Indian dishes every morning which the staff helped to explain! We particularly liked the fresh ginger & lemon tea! There are plenty of other restaurants and beach bars within a short walk of the hotel. We loved Kuchun’s! Highly recommended for couples and solo travellers looking for peace and tranquility in northern Goa

The retreat itself looks cool and is especially beautiful during nighttime. The cottages have air conditioning, the beach is private, the staff really friendly, polite and attentive, the smoothies and juices REALLY delicious and they can make a pretty decent cafè latte (which is quite rare in India). But...the cottages could use some serious cleaning (the bathrooms are especially disgusting and the bedsheets are old and rough) and the beds don't have mosquito nets. Breakfast is really poor and there are many stray dogs running around and barking through the night. Also, they should ban the beach vendors and beggars from coming and harassing people.
